How to Create Viral POV Videos

POV videos are exactly the type of content that’s gaining massive popularity on social media. If you’re aiming for viral content, this is definitely a trend you should be paying attention to.

POV stands for Point of View. In our case, it refers to the perspective of animals—or a camera mounted on them.

I’m going to teach you how to create these videos in a simple and easy way. But pay attention—if you want to get real value from them and add your personal touch, it’s worth going the extra mile and applying the tips I’ll share.

Creating a Viral AI Video – The Tools We’ll Use

The tools we’ll use today are: ChatGPT, Nano Banana, and Kling 3. The first will generate the prompts, the second will create the image, and the third will generate the video. As always with AI content creation, there’s more than one way to do it. Once you understand the basics, feel free to explore other options and discover that each image or video model has its own unique style.

Creating a Video with ChatGPT

To make things easier, we’ll use a tool that was specifically built for this purpose. Instead of writing prompts from scratch (although that’s possible), we’ll use a system that generates tailored prompts for this type of content.

It works in a fixed format and isn’t designed for other uses.

Go to ChatGPT and select Explore GPTs.
In the search bar, type: Micro Animal Camera.
Start a chat, and it will suggest a list of small animals to choose from—or you can simply type the animal you want.

You’ll immediately receive 6 prompts:
the first for the image, and the rest for the video.

To create the image, go to Nano Banana. Make sure you’re using “deep thinking” mode—otherwise the results may not be great. It’s recommended to generate several images and choose the best one.

Once you’ve selected an image, go to Kling 3.0.
I chose this model because it allows you to create multi-shot scenes using multiple prompts.

The maximum video length is 15 seconds, and we’ll build it using 3-second segments—this is why we have 5 video prompts.

I use Kling through my Higgsfield subscription. If you don’t have a paid plan, try opening a free account on one of the platforms—usually they provide some trial credits, which may be enough.

In Kling:

  1. Upload the image as the starting frame (no end image needed)
  2. Paste the first video prompt (the second in your list)
  3. Make sure the duration is set to 3 seconds
  4. Click Add Shot, paste the next prompt, and continue until all five prompts are added.

Finally, generate the video.

If you did everything correctly—you’ll get a perfect video, including matching sound.

Ai POV videos PRO TIPS

Try generating the same video again.
Since the video is built from 3-second segments, you can easily mix and match different versions in a video editor. This allows you to extend the video or replace weaker parts.

You can also edit the prompts to better control what happens in each shot, according to your personal style.

Another option is to extract frames from the video, feed them back into an image generator with new prompts, and create additional scenes to enrich your content.

Want to get more creative with your character?
Create your own character using an image generator.
Then take the 6 prompts you received, paste them into a new chat along with the image, and use this prompt:

Advanced Challenge

If you’ve mastered the technique—here’s a challenge:

The camera is mounted on the animal’s back.
That means we shouldn’t see the animal—we should see what it sees.

Can you fix that and create a true POV experience?
